Long Term Partnership
Today, June 5, 2020, World Environment Day, EnP and CPGeo signed a commercial contract establishing a strategic alliance in the development of seismic processing services for five years.
It is an alliance between companies in the energy sector to study natural resources in an integrated manner and structure the energy ecosystems that are on the radar of EnP’s actions. This will be achieved through innovative seismic processing, supporting geological and geophysical modeling, with a consequent greater environmental integration.
ENERGY PLATFORM – EnP is a Brazilian company, headquartered in Rio de Janeiro, created with the DNA of conceiving, developing, and operating energy ecosystems. To this end, based on Brazil’s vast energy portfolio, EnP identifies opportunities through strategic alliances and innovative business models.
“EnP works on the development of ecosystems with the mission of contributing to an increasingly balanced energy matrix, seeking synergies between different energy sources, respecting the environment, and contributing to the sustainable development of our country,” says Marcio Felix, president of EnP.
CENTRO POTIGUAR DE GEOCIÊNCIAS – CPGeo is a Brazilian geophysical company specialized in seismic, land, and sea data processing. Located in the city of Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, and in business for over 12 years, with a technical and managerial body of geoscientists with extensive experience, in addition to being responsible for the development of a large part of the company’s software portfolio.
“This alliance with EnP is a milestone in the history of CPGeo. The opportunity to build a robust and consistent portfolio together represents an important step in our company, where continuous innovation in geophysical solutions is a key element of this alliance. We currently have an adequate computing infrastructure, and when we process large 3D data, we resort to a partnership with the Supercomputing Center of Senai / Cimatec and use the high-performance computational resources installed in Salvador, Bahia, which guarantees the quality and compliance with the projects “, says Sergio Luciano Freire, Director of CPGeo.
